Day 51:Take a Deep Breath

With one day left after today, our weary runners move along. Arpan DeAngelo the lone US entrant, continued to fly around the course in pursuit of 2700 miles. At days end he equaled the most miles done (2700) by an over 60 years runner- John Wallis from Ludington,Mich.- and passed it by one lap. With a whole day left he can still add to his total. Meanwhile Vasu Duzhiy is in position to finish Tuesday evening around 600pm, which will make him the sixth and final finisher this year. He ran 56 miles to cap his day and needs only forty to finish. It has been a tough year but inspiring nonetheless. See you tomorrow.
